Wow! Are you sure this is a river and not the ocean? I've been to Spokane a lot of times, but never remember it looking like this. You must have a "sea" of runoff.

Sandy, some times the river has been " dammed"... it can be this full- yes. :)

BethAnn,  It most definitely is a beautiful place!  I remember the river VERY well, I remember walking across a footbridge which I think was over the river...you'd know better than me because it's been nearly 30 years since I've been there.  My desire is to someday return before I leave this earth, I loved the scenery!
