I recently looked into the eyes of someone who lost a loved one while using their cell phone and driving.
Inconceivable pain and suffering.
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE SO IMPORTANT that you are TEXTING and DRIVING?
I beg you- whoever reads this:
- Don't TEXT and DRIVE.
- For Gods sake if it is that URGENT (and it rarely is...) PULL OVER to a complete stop to safety BEFORE pulling out your phone.
- DON'T even talk on the cell phone and drive (EVEN if it is LEGAL where you live.) LIVES ARE BEING LOST over nothing.
- Don't drink and drive. This gets alot more attention, but it can NEVER be said too much.
- Can you even imagine, some people do BOTH. Using their phone while driving after drinking.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH US? WHY would we even CONSIDER harming ourselves or someone just to get the latest message on our phone or shoot the breeze?
What could POSSIBLY be so important that we go about risking our lives?
DRIVING DEMANDS YOUR FULL ATTENTION. PLEASE Talk to your friends and family about this, it is VERY serious. I don't want your kids slamming into mine. I don't want my kids slamming onto yours.
Bring this up everywhere you go: it is an EPIDEMIC. A senseless, useless tragedy and reality for many.
STOP THE MADNESS- PASS THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW, IT IS NEVER WORTH THE RISK!
