I recently came upon a wonderful designer in Spokane. Her artistic and individual attention to the personal really caught my attention.

one source design studio is an art and interior design studio supporting a multidisciplinary approach to design. In doing so, one source collaborates and works with trades people, artisans and craftsmen/women throughout a design process. This is a holistic approach to design inspired by a sensitivity to human needs and a deep regard and fascination with nature.
on a more personal note, I am interested in creative process. Involving a client in this process brings a deeper sense of ownership in the living environment and confidence in their own design choices. for example, something as simple as choosing a color is just asking the right questions in relation to the existing environment. oddly enough, the design process is in part skill (experience), knowledge, and intuition.
